Graduate Assistant – Research

Summary

Serves in a support role at a university, usually while completing post-graduate education. The assistant typically helps professors with academic research responsibilities as research assistants.

The collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between UF and Graduate Assistants United (GAU) sets the minimum stipend for graduate assistant appointments. Minimum Requirements

Appointees in this series must be properly registered and working toward a graduate degree through the Graduate School, and the appointee must meet the requirements set forth by the Graduate School.
