Summary

Primarily engaged in teaching and research or any combination of the two general areas. Analyzes, interprets, preserves, and studies and displays artifacts, antiquities, rare items, and visual arts. Researches articles to determine age, historical significance, and value. Preserves items using chemical solvents, solutions, and reagents. Sets-up period and theme exhibits for display and promotion. Oversees galleries, museums, or parks, and conducts tours and educational programs as required.

Minimum Requirements

Highest degree possible in field or equivalent professional experience; Recognized nationally or internationally and/or an outstanding teacher in his/her field; Distinguished record of achievement beyond associate professor level
